My small internet.
So a year ago or so I decided I needed to change something about the media environment I'm using.
I noticed addiction-like behavior and decreased satisfaction from using the web.
There also was a big shift in the posting culture. It wasn't fun anymore.
To me, the internet was always about sharing in the first place. Now it is mostly about consumption and it makes me sad.
I just want to have fun.
I wanted to quit the social media I was using.
Step by step, I came here, to the indie web.
I feel like I'm on the right path.
It was really interesting to experience the ability to make a choice once again.
Of course we are constantly being influenced by somebody/something.
But still, I made a choice, also based on my feelings.
I wanted something different. I wanted to feel a little more freedom. I didn't want algorithms constantly feeding me with random short form content it thinks I like.
Once I made this choice, I felt so much better - refreshed and light.
I still use some social media such as Tumblr and YT.
I like Tumblr, as there are a lot of great images and gifs. There is an option to turn off the endless scroll and it is just amazing.
However Tumblr has many disadvantages like any other social media. I'm not quitting Tumblr yet, thanks to it I have started collecting images and gifs again. It is the only social media, I think, that brings me joy sometimes.
With YT it's more complicated.
Speaking about coming back to analog media. I'm not sure if it will work for me. I would like to use my phone slightly less maybe. Will see.
Another thing I experienced - I'm enjoying certain things more because I don't feel an urge to post them.
Of course I would like to share my interests, but I don't feel I should constantly do it.
In conclusion, I want to say that I believe we can change and adjust at least the media environment we are using. For it to be interesting and fun again. For it to be more alive and positive. It might be difficult, but it is worth trying.

Silk song update.
So I think I kinda finished the game.
Of course, there is more content to explore, but I beat all the bosses and got a 3rd act ending.
Three last bosses I defeated:
-Watcher at the Edge - an easy one.
-Clover Dancers - I liked Lost Verdania a lot. The boss was fine.
-Lost Lace - she was difficult. But kinda fun. I was turning on some fun music during the fight, since original in-game music was making me sad.
I was really happy when I finally defeated her.
I had a lot of thoughts after finishing the 3rd act story.
So here are my thoughts about the game overall.
The things I really liked are:
- The new combat mechanics.
- Some fun bosses.
- Great music.
While I liked the game, there are some things that made my experience less pleasant:
- I kinda didn't like the visuals. Hollow Knight was a better option for me - the colours were more saturated, and the atmosphere was whimsical. I remember that I liked many locations there such as Fungal Wastelands, Forgotten Crossroads, Crystal Peak, Fog Canyon.
But in Silk Song there are almost no locations I liked.
- Next point - not enough exploration. At some point I was just running from one boss to another, and it was annoying.
-I personally hated the amount of chambers with enemies challenges. Same for waves of enemies before some bosses.
It was a fun experience, not always perfect but fun.

So it is new year 2026.
Even despite the fact I didn't finish all the tasks, the previous year was successful.
I want to focus more on this site and post more, since I like indie web a lot.
Happy new year!

Silk song update.
It's been a while, and I have progressed much further.
Here are bosses I defeated do far:
-Forebrothers Signis & Gron
They were kinda stressful for me. I did use the Magma Bell, but still struggled on this boss a bit. I was really happy when the battle was over.
-Garmond and Zaza
The most difficult boss in the Silk Song. Really like this guy. Hope nothing bad will happen to him.
-Broodmother
Not my favourite boss.
-First Sinner
This one was nice. I really liked her movements and the battle pace overall. It was difficult, but pleasant.
Her second phase was kinda chaotic - similar to Widow's second phase.
-Savage Beastfly (Far Firlds)
I got killed by its minion after a second I defeated it. I thought it won't count as a win, but it did.
-Lace (the cradle)
Nice boss.
-Shakra
Jeez, she was really fast and difficult. That was fun, but the fact she doesn't give you anything after defeat - upset me deeply.
-The Unravelled
Creepy atmosphere. I really liked this horror kinda vibe. The boss was ok, though I didn't like his hit box.
-Second Sentinel
It was fun - liked it.
-Voltvyrm
I don't know what to say. It was slifhtly boring.
-Grand Mother Silk
During this battle a decided to go with a Witch Crest.
During my time in this game I was mainly using a Reaper crest and occasionally Wanderer.
This boss was fun, I liked the combination of whitch crest and Trobio's mirror.
Also before beating Grand Mother Silk I decided to arrange everything to start the 3rd act.
So, the 3rd act bosses begin from here.
-Bell Eater
The first boss, I think, most of the people encounter after 3rd act's beggining. It's attacks reminded me Mawlek from Hollow Knight. The boss reminded me a train ._.
-Tormented Trobbio
I was waiting for this battle, because I like Trobio. He has a beautiful boss fight with fireworks and sparkles.
His Tormented version was faster and more difficult.
-Lost Garmond
Literally traumatized me. I don't want to talk about it.
-Pinstress
She is funny, really like "that weird auntie".
The fight was cool, I liked it.
-Crawfather
I really liked how he was hitting with his beak, it was kinda funny. But the boss was supper annoying, spawning minions I couldn't hit from the to p(because they were wearing some sort of iron crowns). So I decided to try a Beast Crest for the first time and spam him with my hits. It worked really well and I defeated him.
-Plasmified Zango
I liked the blue effects, it just looked pretty. But no reward for defeating? Seriously? Not even a single rosary?
-Skarrsinger Karmelita
So this is my first "dream" boss in this game.
At the beginning I was trying to go with Wonderer/Witch Crest but it didn't work well.
Then I realized that on these kinda bosses you are not loosing red tools. I decided to try Architect's Crest and it went sooo much better.
First minion waves I was just tanking.
With Karmelita, except normal attacks, I was using straight pins, tacks and cogflies.
- Gurr the Outcast
Not my favourite boss.
-Crust King Khann
Loved the area, hated the gameplay. Didn't like all those chambers with enemies.
The boss was also not interesting to me.
-Shrine Guardian Seth
Got stuck here. Faced burn out and stopped playing for some time.
Defeated him finally a couple of days ago.
-Nyleth
Muuuuch easier then Seth. Defeated it really fast.
-Palestag
So, now I have 3 bosses left:
-Watcher at the Edge
-Clover Dancers
-Lost Lace
I'm focusing on Lost Lace now.
Don't want to beat the Clover Dancer yet, as Verdania desepears after there defeat.

Silk song update.
I have been playing really actively lately.
So far I have defeated:
-Last Judge
I was giving myself 5 attempts each day, to prevent a burnout. I defeated her relatively quickly and it wasn't stressful.
-Skull Tyrant
-Cogwork Dancers
This boss was enjoyable, I really liked its movements.
-Great Conchflies
-Phantom
I like the boss fights that feel like a dance. Fight with Phantom was enjoyable.
-Trobbio
My favourite boss so far. He reminded me Grimm from Hollow Knight, whom I also like. The fight was visually beautiful with sparkles and fireworks. I was not disappointed to lose the battle again and again. I simply liked to watch his attacks. I beat him relatively fast.
-Father of the Flame
This boss was a bit annoying. I didn't like it.
-Disgraced Chef Lugoli
This one was funny. I liked the stare of the two flies in the beginning of the boss fight.
-Groal the Great
I heard a lot of "good" things about this boss before fighting him.
I cheesed him, by hiding under the corner platforms and spamming him with poisoned Sting Shards and Curveclaw.
This part was fun actually, because I felt like I had found a secret way to beat him.
But overall it wasn't extremely fun.
The way to the boss was kinda long and annoying, even from that hidden bench. I also didn't really like those couple of waves of small enemies before the main boss appeared.
10.2025
I haven't played for a while, but now I finally have some energy for that.
Here is a list of bosses I have defeated so far:
-Moss Mother
-Bell Beast
-Lace
-Fourth Chorus
-Moorwing
-Sister Splinter
I got stuck on the Savage Beastfly, will try again another day.
Update: defeated Widow and Savage Beastfly.

Hi!
So, this is my first post here.
I haven't realised how difficult would it be to create a personal site.
It is work in progress, I really would like to add more interesting things to this page.
Cheers!
